Same 42mm ED objectives, same laser out to 8,000 yards, same Revic Ballistic Engine with base and vector wind, same Raypoint waypoint drop, same 31.7 oz body at the same $2,945. The only thing that changes with the extra magnification is field of view, and for hunters who spend their day judging animals rather than finding them, that is a trade worth making.

Why the BR12
The BR12 costs you field of view and nothing else. 288 feet at 1,000 yards against the BR10’s 320 is what two more power takes, and higher magnification is also harder to hold steady offhand, so a tripod matters more here than it does with the BR10. Everything else is identical, down to the ounce and the dollar. If you glass to find animals across big country, or you range from an unsupported position, the BR10 is the better choice. If you find them and then need to judge them, take the BR12.
