The Acura RS18i was engineered for the hunter who carries the rifle further than they shoot it. Three to 18x on a 44mm objective drops two ounces and an inch and a half against the RS25i, sits lower on the receiver, and opens the field of view to 37 feet at 100 yards so you can find animals fast in timber and broken country. It also holds the most elevation in the Acura line at 100 MOA.

Why the RS18i
The RS18i gives up magnification and objective, and that is a real cost past a certain distance: at 18x you will not resolve a small target or read mirage the way 25x does. What it will not give up is capability. It carries the same RH2 reticle, the same illumination, the same 30mm tube and the same zero stop, holds more elevation and more windage than its bigger sibling, and weighs less doing it. If most of your shooting is at the far end of what a rifle will do, take the RS25i.
